WHAT IS SPIRULINA?

Life on earth began in the sea. The first food sources were mosses and algae. Spirulina is ONE OF THE MOST ANCIENT PREHISTORIC LIFE FORMS, with a record 350 MILLION YEARS of existence until today.
Currently, there are around 35 TYPES OF SPIRULINA in the world. Spirulina with larger dimensions which can be consumed by humans are : -
  1. ARTHROPIRA
  2. ARTHROPIRA (SPIRULINA) MAXIMA
  3. ARTHROPIRA (SPIRULINA) PLATENSIS

According to America's Number One Guide to Natural Health (1,500,000 copies sold) Prescription for Nutritional Healing, Spirulina is a microalgae that thrives in hot, sunny climates and in alkaline water around the world...it contains concentrations of nutrients unlike any other single grain, herb or plant.

And another sources said that, Spirulina is 1000 times higher in concentrated nutrients compared to regular seaweeds and vegetables. When consumed daily, spirulina will replenish nutrients that are lacking as a result of a diet low in fruits and vegetable, provide balance nutrition and improve acidic body conditions.
